STRONGER COMMUNITIES
As a Canadian Construction leader, it is our responsibility to help build a better future in our communities. Matheson’s annual charity golf tournament was started as another way to use our influence and long-standing relationships to build stronger, thriving communities.
With your support, our tournament will continue for many years to come.
Community investment
Our wide-ranging support for non-profit organizations, community social activities, sporting teams/events that support communities where we live and work.
Our giving programs for equity-deserving groups, generally focusing financial and in-kind contributions towards supporting youth, women, people with disabilities and those who have experienced homelessness.
Each year, we select a different, deserving charitable organization.
Matheson partners with many organizations dedicated to supporting people with disabilities in all aspects of their lives. Thanks to the success of previous golf tournaments, substantial contributions have been made to the Huntington Society of Canada, in support of those living with the debilitating physical and mental effects of Huntington disease.
Please note that Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, Closest-to-the-Pin, and Hole Sponsorships do not include team registration or registration fee. If you purchase one of these sponsorships and wish to enter a team, you must also purchase your team registration separately.
Team registration and the registration fee are included in all other sponsorship options.
Alcoholic beverages may be made available and consumed during the event. Participants who choose to consume alcohol do so voluntarily and are solely responsible for monitoring their consumption, remaining fit to participate in event activities, and complying with all applicable laws and workplace policies. Attendees are solely responsible for arranging safe transportation to and from the event, and the organizers strongly encourage the use of designated drivers, ride-sharing services, or taxis where alcohol has been consumed. The organizers reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to limit or discontinue the service of alcohol and/or to require any attendee to leave the event where safety or conduct concerns arise, as the safety and well-being of all participants is a primary consideration.
